On Thursday, March 18, AORN delegates voted on position statements and proposed changes to the bylaws. Delegates also elected the 2010-2011 AORN leadership.

Proposed dues increase amended to $25 (effective July 1, 2010)

Proposed Position Statement on the Care of the Older Adult in Perioperative Settings  Pass
Proposed Position Statement on the RN First Assistant

Motions to change the bylaws to allow all members to vote from home for candidates.  Pass
The House decided to continue the current House of Delegates structure and chapter allocation of delegates. The House also took action to remove the cap of 1500 delegates to allow eligible members present at Congress to register as additional delegates if they request.  Pass
