In AORN’s continued commitment to bringing you timely news during the week of Congress, we will be posting Congress News stories via RSS (real simple syndication). The Congress News RSS feed is available by subscription through your Web browser (eg, Firefox® for Windows® or Mac OS®, Internet Explorer® for Windows), Web-based RSS reader (eg, Google Reader™, Bloglines), RSS cell phone application, or an RSS reader desktop application (eg, NewsGator’s FeedDemon). The AORN Twitter™ page also will feature the Congress News RSS feed as well as other tweets featuring Congress-related information such as reports from speaker presentations, room changes, giveaways, and more. Additionally, for an informal look at what is happening at Congress, you also can subscribe to the Congress Voices blog RSS feed. To learn more about Twitter and RSS, please review part one of this article and the March 2010 Tapping into Technology column in the AORN Journal, which provides a detailed explanation of RSS and a guide for downloading FeedDemon and subscribing to feeds using Internet Explorer and FeedDemon.
