AORN Headquarters Tour
Thursday, March 18 - 8am-5pm
Denver is the home of AORN. Optional tours of the Headquarters building will be offered throughout the day on Thursday. Visit AORN Headquarters Tour web page additional details and registration information. A limited number of tours will be available and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Congress Orientation (formerly First-Time Attendee Orientation)
Two Sessions: Sunday, March 14, 8-9:30am and 1-2 pm
If you are a first-time Congress attendee or if you would like a refresher on Congress, choose to attend one of the two Congress Orientation sessions on Sunday, March 14. Session one is from 8-9:30am and session two is from 1-2pm. AORN’s National Membership Committee, experienced volunteers,and Board members will share their secrets to help you get the most out of YOUR Congress.
AORN Blood Drive
AORN is hosting a blood drive on Monday, March 15th from 10:00am - 11:40am & 1:00pm - 3:30pm at the Convention Center. Bonfils Blood Center needs thousands of blood donors each week to meet Colorado’s needs and to be prepared for any unexpected events. To schedule an appointment online, please reference site code A088 when searching for a donation location. If your drive is more than a week away, extend the date by clicking on the calendar icon to ensure your drive is listed in the search results. You may also contact the Bonfils Appointment Center at 303-363-2300 with questions or to schedule an appointment.
You might think that Bonfils has enough blood donor support to maintain the blood supply, but in fact the need for blood is constant. All blood types are needed and we welcome new blood donors to join the Bonfils family. You have what it takes to save a life. It's already inside you.

Online Education Demonstration Terminals
Plan to visit one of the highlights of last year’s Congress meeting: the virtual online education classroom, located right next to the AORN Bookstore. Reach for your personal and professional peak of perioperative practice with AORN’s online programs. You will have an opportunity to test drive AORN’s expanding online educational product line, including Periop 101: A Core Curriculum, the Ambulatory Administrator Certificate program, Prep for CNOR Certifi cation, and other programs. Live demonstrations of Periop 101 will be conducted throughout each day of Congress and you will have the opportunity to network with peers and educators, gain insights, and meet the AORN staff who are ready and willing to answer your questions. New for this year: Periop 101 Resource Central.
Specialty Assembly Reception
Saturday, March 13, 5:30-7pm
Congress attendees are invited to join members of AORN’s Specialty Assemblies for a celebration. Everyone is welcome to attend whether you are a specialty assembly member or just interested in finding out what this is all about. The goals of the reception are to showcase the individual Specialty Assemblies, celebrate the diverse specialties among AORN members, and meet as many people as possible. Cocktails (cash bar) and light hors d’oeuvres will be served. Space is limited. Please register today to secure your place at this event. Managers’ Networking Reception
Sunday, March 14, 6-7pm
Get together with colleagues who understand your challenges. This reception with management-level attendees and industry representatives allows time to meet, learn, and develop key contacts from around the country while providing additional one-on-one time with representatives from exhibiting companies to discuss products, contracts, and services that interest you. Monday, March 15, 6-8pm
